Not Enough Bass

Worked out nicely! Thank You! I can dial up more than enough for my tastes. Next idea is dual center speakers to fill in i think.  I'm wondering if there will be any clearance issues though. 

There are a couple threads on here about fitting front speakers with a plate that someone on here makes, not sure if they still do but I think so. You can find out what speakers you need one there also. I will probably wait to do that until I get bored next winter or something or maybe not at all. Check in old audio threads you will find it or just ask someone and I'm sure they will help you out, good guys here!

Yes.. on the right side, I made my own out of a piece of Masonite mounting 2-tweeters offsetting them to the left..

I've done the same with the dual center speakers and a custom bracket. Be careful of speaker depth and the dash metal. When I first installed mine I had a terminal touching a piece of the dash frame and grounding out the speaker, drove me nuts until I found out why.

As far as bass, I've never found the need for a sub. I always have run a headunit, amp and component speakers + 2 ways and found the sound clear and very full. Having a good headunit with a wide range of adjustments can really help you dial in the settings between the front and rear in terms of bass and treble.

Yes you do have to have something with adjustments for bass and treble but that can be had while using an Ipod since mine has an equalizer in it and I also use my Galaxy phone. Both of them work equally well and I have more than enough bass and treble to shake the whole car. I can keep my stock radio and the only way you know anything has been changed is if you look in the trunk to see the 6X9's in there. My amp is under the seat and it is much easier to put there than in or under the dash and will also stay cooler there.
