1966 Dodge Charger
« on: February 16, 2016 - 06:35:27 PM »
My uncle has recently contacted me about his 1966 Dodge Charger.. He wants to sell it..

Here is the info on it.

400 Based 500CI Stroker- All the best parts.. Makes 564hp and 640tq

Built 8 3/4 rear with new brakes and Eaton 3:91 center section, Yukon axles and ARP 3 inch studs

Disc Brake conversion on the front from a A-Body

All front and rear suspension rebuilt

Bumpers were redone a few years back

No rust at all.. Never patched and no bondo, no dents.. Solid car

It could use paint.. Paint is old.. Shows good but is not up to great quality..

Has a Cope racing 727 in it with a PTC 11inch 2800/3500 stall converter..

Its a good driver street car.. Not perfect by far.. Needs a lot of cleaning up..  The fuel gauge doesn't work and the hideaway headlights work on and off.

Interior is Very nice..

Just trying to get a honest idea of what it is worth.. Probably just going to buy it, fix a few things, Clean up and touch up a few spots and sell it..

Thanks a lot!

don't know what state yer in, but if you was close, pulled all the drive train out and just a couple grand for the car, I might want it for a friend. Don't need stroker racing hotrod stuff. Stock is more prefered to him from 318 to 383 which I already have...ALAN

Yeah: That's what I was thinking, maybe $8=10kish then go find a big block C-body and switch out all the good parts, then sell the Charger in running, stock condition. I like the 66-67 cars but they aren't a big seller if that's your end goal.
