    what are restored A66 4-speed Challengers going for these days?

    I know these kind of questions are so subjective due to the infinite amount of variables that come into play, but I'm throwing it out there anyway. Numbers matching A66 4-speed Challenger, completely disassembled, restored, and reassembled with all correct parts. Matching fender tag but no build sheet. Supposedly it needs nothing but a new home. Curious as to what range of $$ these things going for these days?  :dunno:

    Ya, I'd say between $40-55k.

    Depends on if it has a flat hood or R/T hood, color, options, extent of restoration (rotisserie?), #s matching engine, trans, etc., etc.   :dunno:

    Well, I think I would ask how does it measure up to the one posted for sale by  rUNCHARGER for $48K?

    Good question. Take Sheldon's Challenger for example. It's a restored A66 car with a numbers matching drivetrain ... out of the car ... and now has a 472 Hemi sitting between the frame rails. As a true A66 car, lets just say that the Hemi is removed and the numbers matching drivetrain reinstalled, what do you guys think might be an approximate market value of Sheldon's Challenger? It's a 4-speed, Rallye cluster, High-Impact color so on and so forth. I just don't know how to gauge those A66 cars. Anybody?

    I like to track the A66 Challengers and have owed a Y-1 convertible, automatic car since 1979.

    My own tracking of these cars seems to be in the following ranges:
    A66 Convertibles in restored/original condition seem to sell in the 60-70k range. This is the top price I have seen for convertibles in stock, collectible condition by dealers and at the auctions.

    Hardtop A66 cars seem to sell in the 40-60k tops in similar condition. Clean drivers in various conditions sell in the  27-40K range.
    Hard to find a clean car under 25K
    Decent Projects sell anywhere from 10-20K
    Total resto cars under 10K

    Options such as 4 speeds, power windows, air (especially on verts), rallye dashes, 15in wheels help the price higher.
    Modified, non-original drivetrains, incorrect parts and bodywork help the price lower!

    Private generally seems better (lower) then dealer prices.
    I have been tracking these cars over the last 5 yrs. This is roughly what I found based on actual sales.
    Just my own,unscientific research!

    That is a good question? 
    The A66 cars were generally kind of dechromed (no wheel well moldings)
    I think you could have ordered the molding group A63 package. There have been A66 cars with the argent SE panel over the tail lites.
    Was the SE- A47 package available w A66? According to the dealer books, it looks like it was available!

    Mine has the A63 package with the moulding on top of the doors and quarters and back of hood, also included front valence moulding and astrotone tail panel "applique"

    A47 wasn't available on Challengers, it's the SE pkg & on a Challenger an SE got a different body code (29)  An posted above A66 & A63 did appear together, this car has both...

    How rare is the V02 option (two-tone, painted roof)?

    My A66 is B5 body with white painted roof.
