New 2015 Charger
« on: February 17, 2016 - 09:10:54 PM »
Well we did it, first new car in ten years.  My wife finally got a decent job in IT,  she was laid off the last 4 years, after her company when belly up.  Of course the first thing on her list was a new car.  Fortunately,  she went with a new Dodge Charger, instead of that escape that everybody and their brother owns.  The Charger is  in dark blue, with the pentastar V-6, pretty quick for a V-6 in a +4,000 car.  Has the large screen media display in the center stack, that does just about everything.

Here's little better pic,  Michigan just has too much salt on the road for any good pics.

Nice. We're likely due up for a new vehicle in the next year. I want a Charger but she wants an SUV.

Yep, good eye it's Jazz Blue, looks better in the sun light and it's AWD of course, we live in the country and we need that.  She did have a good idea though, when we went up to visit our son at Michigan Tech in the UP for winter carnival, she said let's test drive cars in the snow, so the Escape and the AWD Charger were on her list.  She fell in love with the Charger (so did my son & I),  we took it on the snowy back roads and it did fine with the all wheel drive, was quiet too, rode nice.  The escape is just to small for my................body, also noisy, and lacked power.

Congrats on the new ride. Those SUV's have more blind spots than a room without lights at night not to mention they all look the same.
