72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I went back and forth with the guy for 3 weeks. Not sure he's truly scamming, but he would not send any information on data plates, and he is generally very difficult to deal with. He gave me a price and then expected me to fly to his house without any data plate information and ended up purposefully offending me.

I wouldn't call it a scam. I think it's just some bored clown with nothing better to do. I went back and forth with him and he never asked for any money. He just won't give a price.

Pretty optimistic I think. I have always wondered about cars and ads like this, it would "seem" that if you spent all the time and money to build your dream car, why would you turn around and dump it. I understand that there are a lot of possible reasons ranging from economical issues, health, etc but every time I see one of these I think it is a lemon or a grenade with the pin pulled and the current owner knows it is going to cost a pile to fix or make right. This is especially true for those ads where they have like 80 miles on the car or something; if I spent big money to build a car, you can bet I would drive the crap out of before selling it, unless..... just my  :2cents:

Absolutely!!  Why not drive after you spent all that money to build it? Unless they think they can get the money back if they sell--not likely
