I actually talked to the guy the other day. I had to find out what was going on there. It's not only a 318 car with a crate hemi its actually a 1970 car not a 1971. I told him he was absolutely nuts with that asking price but he said he knows it's worth $10,000,000 if it was finished so his $1,000,000 price is a bargain as is.

guess I need to put a Hemi in mine then.....

mine being a hardtop and having more car then that one has to make it at least 1.5M (by his logic anyways)

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

So $40k isn't so far off if you talk him down a little.
