72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I would love to happen upon that car after I won the lottery and had all day to fix it.

The ad seas 1970, the grill and tail light panel appear to be 1971. :dunno: :screwy: :2cents:

Project Time!

I'm pretty sure I looked at that car back in 2000/2001 here in the Phoenix AZ area.   I remember it needing a lot of work and in particular looking under the quarter panels behind the rear wheels and seeing it was just caked with filler.  I was also disappointed when I looked in the trunk and I could see the black paint scratched off and the red paint showing underneath (at the time I was looking for a real sublime car).  I still remember to this day the guy who was selling it saying look at the VIN, see it is a real Cuda, you can tell by the first two letters 'BS'.  At the time I looked at it it ran and the interior was all in it but it was still rough overall.  I forget what the guy was asking for it back then but it was overpriced in my opinion.  At that time I was so desperate to own a 70 Cuda and with not many of them coming up for sale I was seriously thinking about purchasing the car but my senses finally kicked in and said you need to walk away from this one, and I'm glad I did.

Anyway, weird to see it all these years later and it still looks pretty much the same as when I saw it 15 years ago.

There has to be something seriously wrong with that Cuda for it not to move. My guess is rust but hey maybe folks just hate Yellow?
