The craigslist ad says 318 on top and 340 in the ad and $38,500. His website says 318 and $35K.

What do you guys think this thing is worth? BH23G, some rust in drivers door, needs floor pans, interior is pretty good, 4 speed, pretty good running 318. My plans are paint black, get the rust out, 440, nice wheels, and drive the. $#!+ out of it

What do you think?

without seeing the rest (interior, trunk, underside, quarters) it's hard to say. $15-$25k?

I've looked it over pretty good, quarters/rears are good, trunks good, as stated slight rust in bottom of driver door, but not rocker and definitely needs driver floor pans. Interior has been redone and carpet and seats are 90%+, little sag in head liner, no rust around window mouldings anywhere. Forgot to state it's a 72 with 70 grill. All interior is fully functional, but no frills (ac, rallye gauges, etc.) Drivers seat does have a couple small rips very back where seat flips for access. Underside is not immaculate and shows its age, but not rusted out. I can pick it up for 13, I just want to be sure I'm not over paying since being a 72 318 car is not as desirable as its counterparts. I'm not concerned with it not being a matching # car as I plan to make it my own and drive it periodically

Yet another bench seat car. New wiring harness though? Do I smell electronics burning?

13K seems reasonable. I like the color.
