I think black cars look great.  I even bought one once.  The only time it was clean was while I was still wiping the dust off.  As soon as my towel left the surface, it was dirty.  Never again for me.  I do appreciate a nicely done black car though.

definitely the toughest color to take care of.

I have a black trans am and man does it take some time to detail.  I've never had it hand washed. Only sprayed. It's the only way to keep the spider lines from showing up on a black paint job.
Never, never ever touch your black car with a rag or one of those car wash's with the spinning pads.    SPRAY WASH ONLY.

Love the color, but it sits  in the garage more than it should just because of the whole cleaning issue.

:iagree: Been there done that x2. My wife's 'vert is black and it ALWAYS looks dusty. I do appreciate a nicely done black car though as black is the original bad a$$ color.

Paint it the color of your choice.  :2thumbs: At the time you may sell it, you can use the TX9 option for asking a good price.   :money:

When I say close friends, they are from decades of friendship. I'm known to help anyone. But I do value special friends above any type of money value.   I also agree with the comments about , it's your car, do what you want with it.  I do that all the time.  Ya just cant have fun with Barret Jackson cars.  I build a car to live on the edge of destruction. Or I used to anyways. The other Allen on this site does a jam up super job on restorations. He gets them perfect, if ya want a show poodle. But that's when guys start calling their cars girl or she. lol. Ride along with Neil or myself, we can show you how a show poodle was , it was made a hunter. We were made for racing and enjoying our muscle cars.  Josh is right about black cars.  Sucks to wash them

thinking of trading my 69 charger rt for it. its a 70 grand coupe 383 4 speed car. the charger is a 440 car changed over to 4 speed. always wanted a cuda. both cars are apart and under construction.

Production # 341 for 70 Gran Coupe H/T 4 speed 383

Black probably makes it 1 to 10 out of 341.

My  :2cents:  keep it black... Just do not use towels or abrasive cloths to wipe it.  Use Micro cloth....

My Gran Cpe Convertible is 1 0f 66 w/ 383 4 bbl  HD 727  335 hp.
