Has newer alternator and new ballast resistor and voltage regulator. One field wire on alt shows 10 volts, other field wire shows 2 volts. Battery output lug on alternator pegs my gauge at 30 volts. But no voltage to battery.. Any help would be appreciated....
Seems like same problem I had last year when black wire of battery lug on alternator shorted on the block...
Now following that black wire thru firewall to behind fuse box. So far it's intact so looks like it burnt some again inside the car.. Anyone know where that wire goes after it goes thru the firewall?
