That's a nice looking tank, wish I had known about it when I swapped mine out.  :2thumbs:

Yes it is a nice looking one. Let us know how it works out for you.  Probably the direction I will be going on mine.

I certainly will. I debated over just reusing the stock tank and going with the Aeromotive Phantom pump. In the end I decided the best option is the Tanks inc option. Ill take pics and details once its in. Hopefully sunday

Got the tank swapped yesterday.

Some things of note for future folks doing this:

1. You'll likely have to remove the rear valance to get to the bolts, not a big deal just know its got to be done.
2. Get as much gas out as possible before trying to lower the tank. Its bulking and hard to balance.
3. Use a jack under the tank to support it. I used a transmission jack and it worked great.
4. buy new a new top pad/cover and rubber grommet that seals the fill tube. Luckily mine were barely serviceable but for the little bit of cost it would have been nice just to use new ones. Also my straps were good but check your's. they sell new ones.
5. Just the front bolts are long, I started them with a box wrench (1/2 inch) and then got my air wratchet, they are so long the deep socket wont go on it until you ride the nut down a little.
6. with the tanks inc EFI tank. You wont be able to get to the pump and sending unit once the tank is in. Well you can, but its Really tight. I pig tailed and connected braided fuel lines and electrical wires and labeled them so when i'm ready to connect everything its easy to get to.

The job was a lot easier than expected. scale of 1-5, it was a 2.

I  just started a thread looking at one of their tanks... Is the recess on the top of the tank low enough that you could access the fittings by going with a thicker top pad?

Also are you using the stock gauges? How is it working with the EFI sending unit? With the in tank pump you will practically have to run a return line

:2cents: I've got the Challenger version of the tank.  With the tank installed, the recess space is tight plus you have at least 3 hoses (supply, return, and vent (if both tank and pump vents are combined or one is plugged), wiring for pump and sender,  the  rear cross member, and tank straps to deal with.   With a stock tank pad, you'd have a difficult time getting the fuel fittings finger tight, near impossible to get a pair of wrenches in to get them properly torqued.  At least that was my experience.

I agree with shawge, its tight, really just enough space for the fittings not to hit the floor of the trunk. get everything attached before installing the tank.

I was researching them and a couple of people have reported that the gasket that is supplied leaks. The fix was making your own cork gasket and using aviation sealer. I hope you don't have any leaks but if you do the people reporting the problem say this is the fix. Hopefully Tanks Inc has started supplying a different gasket.
I think I'm going to get one down the road.

mine did not come with a gasket at all actually. The sending unit came with a rubber O ring, but the pump did not. I used a bead of RTV
