how thick is the sheet metal you get for patching small swiss cheese holes in the front fenders?

Spare yourself the misery later on and get the car completely sandblasted.
At least the fenders.

Frankensteining a panel together is not an art.   :2cents:

silver dollar size hole. no rust otherwise. just need to know what thickness metal to get.

I like to use 18 gauge, however 20 will work as well.
