I need some opinions (and fast!)

I'd appreciate opinons on this car. Its a 1967 Cuda Formula S, 383 4-spd. Sure-Grip car. Needs some work, but its local enough to pick up, and I like the car. And please, don't bid on it, I am a 17 year old with limited finances as it is, and don't need a bidding war. ;D

Hmmmm, thats local to me...I think I'll hit Buy-it-Now....LOL!

Thats a fairly rare car, 1 of 1,036 383 4 speeds. If the car is represently fairly, I'd say the buy it now is a fair price. I mean, it is a big block 4 speed car, and supposed #'s match.

Go for it!

Hate to break it to ya, but those are '68 Fenders... ::)

If it's local enough, go look at it! Check it out very carefully and let me know if want to know areas to check out on it... looks like a decent car, but here at work I can't look at eBay... :banghead:

Yeah, the guy explained the 68 lights by saying that the car hit a deer early in its life, and the owner put a 68 fender, door and grilles on it. He added the marker lights on both sides instead of filling the hole. He said it was because the guy was a redneck.

If I were to buy it, I would definitely go out and check it out.

If i did anything..........I would document myself if the car were truely matching numbers.... hmmmm in 67 I dont think they were stamping the blocks with the vin number..........
so who is to say whether its matching numbers or not........i dont know much about the older Cudas .....i would assume a bigblock would not just drop into a small block car without modifications......

My Formula S 383 has torque boxes at rear springs, and somethings thats strikes me when I took a second look on the interior,is that I`ve exactly the same steering wheel in my car, wich I asked about in a thread(interior and gauges)so now I think it`s the steeringwheel since factory,or?Since I bought my car without engine and drivetrain so I know it`s not a numbers match. But if you compare vin with fendertag maybe you can state if it`s a true bigblock A-body.I would say ,go for it .Here `s a pic of my steeringwheel

Well, the fender tag in the pictures does have correct codes for a 383 car, as well as the VIN having the correct BH29H7XXXXXXX.

I don't know, the high bidder looks like it might have been a hijacked account, after all, someone with a bunch of nature stuff as past items doesn't just go out and buy a 1967 Barracuda 383 4-spd. I'll send the guy an email later this week.
