while cleaning and blasting the torque converter I have I came across some lighter blue color remains...
I know this converter I have is not from my 'cuda but from a E-body non the less....
probably will paint it same blue unless I can find other info.

yep, we tend to blast everything as its the only way to make it as new as possible.

so you speculate that every converter where painted same as the engine it belonged to??
possible, as I was told the converter I have came from a 70 challenger that had a blue engine.

I understand one barely ever sees it but I wanted to make it correct as possible.

I guess you don't have to be told and I also guessing that you made sure no blasting media got into the converter? If any did I don't see how you would ever get it out again.

correct,
we definitely made sure no media entered converter, as ya, that would be a major problem,
while I've heard of some separating converters, I would never want to have to attempt that.
