Who Knows Cragars
« on: March 07, 2016 - 01:33:36 PM »
Does anyone know the item or part # for these Cragars?  Couple designs I looked up are close but I want to be sure.

I believe the center cap is an option.

Thanks.

I have classic 15" Cragar S/S on my '68 Charger - http://www.cragarwheel.com/products16-6/CragarSeries61CChromeSSSuperSportDirectDrill.  Most are unibolt (fit Mopar, Chevy, Ford) that are a PITA to put on/off since you have to line up a washer. You special order direct bolt (5x4.5) from Summit and others, as well as custom backspacing.  Double check that the center cap is included.  Cragar is offering a special 50th anniversary center cap this year - http://www.cragarwheel.com/articles1-14/LimitedEditionCragarSSCommemorativeCapNowonSale.

I'm looking for 15x8 rears with 4.5 backspacing and Summit/Jegs only shows 4.25 backspacing.
Will this give me more room between tire and leaf spring?  It looks like I can get direct bolt (5x4.5).

Can they do 4.5 backspacing for this wheel if I call?  As you said "Custom".

Thanks.

The 4.5" backspace increase will move the wheel out away from the springs and towards the fender.  Anything not offered would be custom order, but it is usually only $40ish per wheel although I have never ordered wheels from Jegs.  You can always add a spacer to move the wheel out too.
