    Just another new guy.

    Hey folks. Came across C-C while looking for info for my motor build. Figured Id join to have another area to discuss things. While I don't have a Cuda or Challenger, I hope you will forgive me.
    My car is a 1940 Chrysler Windsor with a 383/727/8.75" and the motor is currently at a shop getting prepped to be built  :swear:

    Sorry for the size of the pic when the car was still green, only one I had on my computer.
    She's grey now. I cut the firewall out and built a new one out of 10ga sheet. Moved the motor back 6" from where it was with the original firewall.

    Thanks. Yeah, it has a huge trunk, for now. I plan on building a new frame since it is sitting on the original. 76 years has left the frame with some wavy spots from jacks and I had to notch it for my oil pump. It will be replaced with either a custom built frame or maybe a Dakota frame that gets boxed.

    Here is how she sounded before I yanked the motor. I built my own headers going into side pipes that run under my steps.
