Saginaw Metric Power Steering Pump
« on: March 14, 2016 - 10:12:49 AM »
Does anyone know if a metric Power Steering Pump reservoir is interchangeable with the the early style power steering pump.

I may have an issue with the reservoir for the pump on my cuda, early style Saginaw and thought I may be able to pickup a metric pump at the wreckers and switch my pump body in to the metric reservoir???

Not worried about the change in design, but don't want to mix metric bolts with standard bolts in the engine bay.

Thoughts?

the reservoir has no metric threads in it so it should slide over your pump as long as the holes are in the same place
