    What are you calling an inspection plate?  If you mean the two plates for access to the alignment eccentrics those are black...

    I was thinking the access plate to the torque converter  :dunno: which would be a galvanized bare metal.

    yes I was meaning the access plate to the torque converter.
    galvanized bare metal it is, I will probably flat clear coat to
    prevent any weathering.
