What mufflers to use

Which do you think sound better? nearly everyone I snow around here in Alabama have magnaflows and Im just wondering what everyone else is running on their cars.

I liked the Pro Series in the above video..  Hearing something in person is the only real way to judge..& it is personal taste.

Just down the road in Huntsville..  You gonna drive it on the street?  Performance & sound have little to do with each other.
Folks think the more noise it makes the more power you get but that's not necessarily the case.

Yeah, I'm still in school so it'll be a little bit of both but mostly on street and to cruise ins and such. What exhaust do you run? And any Mopar clubs around our area?

Yeah we have club... Mostly older guys(like me LOL). I went to meetings a while but lost interest after a while.
They do have a nice show on Saturday before fathers day in June usually at the drag strip.

I put on a 2.5" stainless Pypes system with their Race Pro muffler.. Headers & these add up to something that actually sounds pretty stock on my OE 340

Last time I was at that track was when that had that battle going on with those housing projects lol. I'll look up those mufflers lol. Ever heard the thrush turbo mufflers?

not specifically but turbo mufflers are relatively quite, deep tone, low restriction and not terribly expensive..
Had some turbo mufflers on a small block Charger a long time ago, sounded good but had a bad drone at certain RPMs..
a H-pipe or X-pipe would of helped the drone I imagine.

My 418 stroked 340 with 2.5" TTI Full System, H pipe, Dynomax Ultraflows through TTI welded tips and tail pipes.
