Challenger to return??
« on: June 13, 2005 - 10:15:07 AM »
Who has heard about this? Could it be that someone at DCX was actually listening to the enthusiasts after all???

Tom, wouldn't that be great?    I'd buy one and be able to say I have a Cuda and a Challenger!

Hi Mark! How are ya? Found my way here- seems like a good board!

Are you planning on the 25th cruise?

I hear ya on the new Chally.... as long as they don't muck it up! Needs the 6.1 with a manual tranny, though. Would getting one of those put me into the elite e-body owners club?

Tom it is good, albeit a bit slower. (which is good as posts stay around longer)

Yes, I am going on the Mopar cruise, and for all interested who live in new england check out the thread at moparts entitled "New England MOPARTS Cruise - Saturday, June 25th, 2005 "

And I wouldn't worry about any elite club, Mr. Hemi/Convertible!

Time will tell.  Even if it is just rumor, they should be planning a competitor to Mustang.  GM is rumored to be working on a Camaro ressurection too.  But as of now, no one from the corporations (DC or GM) is willing to say.

Is DCX is backtracking their statement about "no business case" for a coupe?   :dontknow:

Even the GM people have heard the rumor:

Maybe you've seen this, but here's what Motor Trend thinks it may look like:

It could simply be that their arrogance no longer allows them to ignore the forecasted 192,000 2005 Mustang sales!

 :iagree:

With GM scrapping the only 2 true pony cars they had, they handed the whole market right over to the Mustang.

Tonight as I go to sleep, the words "Santa, please let DC make a very cool version of the Challenger and I will be good for the rest of the year"
