Gran Coupe road racer in Japan!
« on: March 21, 2016 - 09:04:33 PM »
I ran across this article while doing some Gran Coupe googling:

http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/10/circuit-shaker-a-cuda-from-japan/

It seems somebody in Japan road races a pretty cool looking Gran Coupe.  Check out the Minilite style wheels by Watanabe:

I know!!  I am still looking at stuff even after I posted that.  There are some pretty cool old NASCAR videos: 1964 Riverside, 1971 Greenville. So much for getting anything else done!

yea, they would look good on my Cuda, but I am running 315 rear so I don't think they would work too well.

OR you can get the Original Minilites:

My post was just in case some future reader wanted to know where to find a set.  I'd love to buy your set for a second set to have on race day.  but first I need to build something to race!  :burnout:

:2thumbs:  There is some 15" racing rubber to choose from but they are usually short tires, good for racing , not so good on the street.
