I'd get a compatible shock from the same source of the front  for the rear, ie another Stocker Star. If it were mine, I'd get a single adjustable so I could dial it up for street use and then dial it back for strip use.

No, mopars don't rock back in acceleration, they lift. The rear end should rise while stalling it in the lights, then when you let off the brake, the nose comes up to match. This is using the cars weight to leverage the tires into the pavement. If you have stock style Espos, the rise will be somewhat limited and the snubber, if the springs are working correctly, actually becomes ineffective unless you have a high stall convertor or four speed that is hitting the suspension hard at launch and twisting the springs.

I'd have to differ. Off the line, my Cuda rearend squats, and stays pushed down against my
adjustable pinion snubber, which plants the tires and prevents wheel hop.
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Okay. Every drag racing mopar I've had lifted, but if it works for you, stick with it.

Monroe makes a good shock for that. Not too expensive either. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mon-66608/applications

I'm sure it depends on the setup, and I just drive on street, not at the drag strip.

put the QA1 shocks on the front. Big improvement is smoothness of ride.
Its like all the old bumps I use to drive on are gone. Gonna have to put
them on the back too. Guess I've been living in the stong age.

Jordan is spot on. when you say "just go in a straight line" is this a drag car? If so, get 90/10 or some other drag orientated shock, if however you have any intention on driving it on the street at all, get a good driving shock. I had KYBs on my Challenger, not impressed at all with them. Changed over to Bilstiens; awesome shocks. QA1s are well received but expensive.

which Bilstiens did you use on the rear?

Just found this site with $95 Bilsteins!

https://www.performanceonline.com/1970-74-Dodge-Plymouth-Chrysler-Barracuda-Challenger-E-Body-Rear-Bilstein-Shock-Absorber/

Good to know. Wonder if they were meant or another car model though, since Bilstien does not seem to make one specifically
for a Cuda.
I may go with the QA1's, since they are 18 way adjustable, and I'm told I may need that adjustment option if I go with
the composite lightweight leaf springs from Hyperco.

I have them on my Cuda and Challenger; so I know they fit.

Are they also the same for the rear? The boxes mine came in had the right part number but they said Charger.

Bilstien needs to get their act together. They may be losing sales.

I am not sure, I would call Firm Feel or PST to verify.  This is the cheapest I have found so far, not sure about shipping though and PST has a coupon in their catalog.  https://www.performanceonline.com/Rear-Shock-Absorbers-Mopar/
