General Lee for sale
« on: March 22, 2016 - 05:57:05 PM »
http://s1302.photobucket.com/user/73440/slideshow/General%20Lee

I was told it has the original 318 that had been rebuilt.
About 92,000 miles on the odometer.
Was brought from New Jersey to Texas about 2003-5 , work done then to look like the General Lee.
Auto, CB radio, work done recently are new brakes , new Mastercraft tires.

Saw a little bit of rust bubbles bottom of door, on fender well , rain gutter.
I did not do a complete inspection.

It is at the car repair shop I take all my vehicles to.
Located in The Woodlands Texas at Woodlands Car Care 281-363-2300 ask for Al.
It was recently in a wedding in Montgomery Texas.

Windshield has $23,000.

If anyone needs me to get more info or pictures, please let me know. Only a couple miles from me here.

I think this car would be awesome if it didn't have the herpes of the car world which is rust all over it. I'd sell my 71 cuda and have 15K to get this ***** Black on black with a new crate hemi for 37.

Ugh, why do most think when they have a Charger it HAS to look like the General Lee?

Simply because a few people (one local guy) realized they can make a lot of money creating and selling General Lees out of any old husk of a charger, and made a cookie cutter business out of it.

Ugh, why do most think when they have a Charger it HAS to look like the General Lee?

Well I really don't care if it was turned into a general lee or not, the important aspect of this story is that the work they did has preserved it a little longer until it's new owner changes it to his preference. I don't think it's a terrible price for a 69 by the way it looks.

I bet it sold soon after the add .Here in  :aussie: You  will never find a running charger at that price. Most of the time a buyer  would hand over double that price      and that would see you with a run of the mill car,  nothing special. :money:
