    Yeah I agree...given they were designed fro vehicles built almost 30 years after the car was built its amazing that they fit at all!!!

    The only real issue is where the driver side is touching the steering box, and that is only by the slightest amount.

    Are these supposed to flow better than the stock 1974, 360 manifolds?

    That is what I am told...that and these are a bit easier to find than the original manifolds.

    these are supposed to be the best flowing production manifolds period  , the next best was the 68-71 340

    It would not surprise me at all if that is the issue.

    I think I will check and see if NAPA has any mounts in stock and switch out the old stock ones I have.  I bought them a few years ago at Moparfest and have no idea how old they are.

    Rock Auto has a complete set of manifolds for a 1998, 5.9 Magnum, 360.  Total cost including shipping is $150.00.

    Are these the same?

    I agree they should be. But I picked mine up for 50 bucks at the pick and pull.

    Might try there first. My local place had lots of trucks with the manifolds.

    Looked them up as a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500.  Shows DORMAN # 674271for one side and 674538 for the other side.
