I know a guy locally selling this one for $1600 in as new condition.

Anyone have any words of wisdom/advice?  I don't have the height for a full size lift and thought this might be a good compromise? I was thinking of cutting the floor to mount this flush, but still be able to pull it out onto the driveway someday if I pour a concrete slab ? Driveway currently is asphalt.

I've seen them locally sell for less than half that...   Know a guy that bought one for $750...  That said they are great for detailing... Not the best for mechanical work...  But allot better than working on the floor...

OK, here is a thought. You could go with a four post lift, and even though your head room won't allow full use of elevation, it would still allow the same amount of access as the scissor lift. And at some point in time, you may relocate or build a shop to house the larger lift. I bought a 4 poster some time back and went in with some other guys and we got a good deal. I sure do like the one I have.

like I said, it is another way of looking at it.  :2cents:

I thought of that but I don't have the height to install a 4 post lift.
I missed out it just sold a few minutes ago.... :pullinghair:

16 is a little high for that lift  maybe a 2 post in the drive way or along side your bldg.,  all youd need would be to pour a footers for the to set on
