Ignition problems
« on: March 23, 2016 - 08:38:16 PM »
I can start it manually from under the hood but it's dead when I try to start it with the ignition. Any idea?

I done plugged it in and everything I'm confused on where a wire goes though. It's not the big plug in but a little one?

Just ground the terminal on your relay that has a brown wire on it, then try to start. If it turns over, then your NSS, or NSS wiring is the problem.

I'm just needing it to make it to prom for now so what's the worst that happens if I run it when it's grounded like that? How do I make sure that the linkages are set right?

I'd think if your able to jump start it in Park and not get run over the linkage is OK...LOL   shorting the relay ground will allow the car to start in gear..  not a good thing  :eek2:

Two pieces of advice..
1. Learn how to use a multi-meter & read wiring diagrams if you don't already....
2. Do you & your date a favor n borrow someone's big Caddy or Lincoln for the prom..    :grinyes:

Unless of course the date is your sister.  But that info is definitely for another forum...

Good luck and let us know how it works out for ya. The car of course...
