NOS Salt & Pepper cloth inserts with White vinyl surrounding it... Originally this cloth was surrounded with black vinyl but I felt the white would have more visual appeal....

Very nice  :2thumbs:

A friend of mine bought my previous '73 Challenger Ralley... 340-4spd, ps, pdb, cold ac, etc.... daily driver.  Car was red with a white top and white interior.  I saw his car a few years later after he did some resto/mods, etc...   440-6, f'glss front end, handling suspension, rear disc, etc... and his white interior looked very bright... brighter than I could have ever kept it clean myself... I asked how did he clean it up?.... he re-dyed the seats and re-painted the door panels, and a new headliner, etc.
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

I think your buddy is right to choose black if he wants "mass appeal", but if you ask me, I think white would look best :2cents:

hell yeah.

If i ever hafta replace my seat trim I'd go white for a spell.

might even do that when I have a spare few bucks layin around.... (ummmm yeah, right)

I gotta say I didn't expect so many responses on the white interior. Is it because white and orange look good together or is white just a hot interior regardless of exterior color?

I guess it must be me but I always thought white seats and door panels looked odd next to black carpet and dash, especially if the car has a black vinyl top and stripes. I'm going to the big Spring Fling show in a couple weeks. Now you guys have me wanting to take a hard look at the white interior cars out there.

My car had white guts originally and after serious consideration, I decided to replace it with black and here's the reason.

As I was preparing to rip it out, my dog jumped in with muddy paws and after nearly yelling at him for doing something that I routinely allow in my truck, I reconsidered and went with black so as not to make him feel bad for dirtying it up the next time he does it. After all I can always go back to white or the next owner can as the fender tag is there

I have black interior in my vert.. But I had an upholstery shop sew up a liner that covers the rear seat & rear panels so I can take my two Huskies for cruises without worrying about them tearing up the upholstery..... But the cloud of loose fur any time the car is in motion is unbelievable... :smilielol:
