"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Nice build! I'm doing about the same with my Challenger but your'e moving with 10x my speed :)
What are you gonna do for AC? I see you left the stock holes. I got a Vinatge Air kit and I thinking about welding up them, or possible use one of the oval hose holes for the Hemi harness, if that is possible locationwise.

Thanks! The car have had zero progress the last weeks, but many parts have been restored & painted and are ready to go back on the car.
The stock Ac will be saved,if he changes his mind and mounting ac later. The hole you see to the right of the tunnel is to the new engine harness.

After a little while on hold, the work has started again.
The engine bay have been painted a second time since the first try came out a little to glossy, it's now painted with Glasurit "Rallye schwarz" and it looks so much better.
Guess its time to put in the engine now :D

I agree, the engine bay looks really clean!  Question on your dual fans with shroud:  It seems to me that blocking that much air flow would negatively impact the ability for the fluid to cool in the radiator.  Is the theory that the shroud actually helps the air suck better through the fans despite blocking so much of the radiator?

Did you cringe when sliding the clip nuts onto the freshly painted inner fenders? I always wonder about fasteners scraping off paint...  :clueless: I suppose there is no avoiding some of that. Is there a trick you use when installing them?

That paint looks great. I see you are keeping the battery in the stock position, I wanna do that also, what are you gonna do with the airfilter?

From Griffinrad.com
"Without a shroud the only part of the radiator that would work at idle (speed under 15 mph) would be the area where the fan was located behind the core. The shroud guarantees that air is pulled through the complete core, resulting in optimum performance"

Not easy to get the one's "inside" the Us car tool piece on without scraping some paint, but the others you can open up a bit before you put them on :)

Thanks! He's going to try to use the shaker and make it functional somehow, and if not I guess it will be something similiar to what I did on my car.

Ready to see if it fit  :D
The only concern is if there is enough clearance between the transmission and tunnel, the info sheet from American Powertrain says that it will fit in most cars, but some need to cut out a piece of the tunnel and replace it with a new piece that came with the kit.
