Just picked up a kind of cool 74 Cuda (they're all cool!).  It is taken apart so I might need some of your expert help (again!) to get it running and on the road.  It has dual fender tag but I don't know how to decode the little one?  The main one is something like this (bottom of post).

That's not the exhaust, that's the rear facing machine guns!  :) 

It is a bit taken apart, engine is out, trans is barely hanging in and no exhaust but otherwise car is complete with extra parts.  How would you start on it?  Take out the trans?  The brakes seem to work well but I will go over them.

I want to get it running/driving like my last Cuda and worry about the body later.

Id drop the trans out..get the motor done..put them back together then drop it back in..get it running...check the brakes and  :burnout:

I noticed that the original color was Y5, Yellow Blaze.

I got the engine out of the truck bed into the garage!

I am going to remove the trans and maybe take the engine apart a bit, but I will post pictures before I do and do more reading.  It looks like the PO took it apart a bit already as the water pump housing bolts are not fully on.  What should I do?  Take it apart and check it out?  What am I looking for?

PS Do my pictures work now?
