Windshield washer system
« on: April 06, 2016 - 11:24:49 AM »
I'm about to buy what I need to install a complete windshield washer system.
So I'm asking if someone could please have a look at what I've got on my shopping list and tell me if it's about right.

For a 1970 Challenger with fibreglass hood:
-Windshield washer fluid bottle https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/g36
-Electrical pump https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/g81
-Windshield washer hose  https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/fd37036 (This is sold by the foot, how many feet do I need?)
-Tee for windshield washer hose https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/wwht
-Windshield washer squirters for fibreglass hood https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/ww7p

For a 1972 Challenger with steel hood:
-Electrical pump https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/g81
-Windshield washer kit https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/wp6774
, 1970-1974 E-body models with steel hood and electric pump, reproduction:  https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/wwk5#prettyPhoto

Is there anything I've missed?

Nah, I figured I would just leave the hood open with the windshield washer fluid bottle cap off, and wait for it to rain.  :icon16:

I can ship that to  passion4mopars if need be. are you going to use a steel hood or TA hood?
Both steel hood and fibreglass

http://www.rosevillemoparts.com/product_info.php/p/washer-hose-kit-electric-pump-70-74-e-body-71-72-b-body/products_id/756
Is this a complete kit, save for the reservoir bottle?
I know I need to purchase a separate nozzle kit for the fibreglass hood, but apart from that, do I need to purchase anything else? Fasteners of any kind?

http://www.rosevillemoparts.com/product_info.php/p/70-e-body-electric-washer-bottle-reservoir/products_id/3986
I need a reservoir pump for both a 1970 and a 1972.

parts are in stock

-Edit: I decided to email mopardave directly, just putting this here to avoid having someone think he can't be bothered to reply.
