When I took my brake and clutch pedal assembly apart to restore it there was a spring on the brake pedal. Naturally, even though I took several pictures of the assembly before I took it apart, I didn't get a picture of how the spring attached to the brake pedal and now I can't figure it out. The manual doesn't show it and I haven't been able to find a picture of it anywhere. Can somebody explain how this spring attaches to the brake pedal or better yet have a picture of how this spring attaches to the brake pedal they can share?
Second question, as you can see by the attached picture, my brake pedal sits lower than the clutch pedal. Granted, while the pedal is connected to the power booster, neither the master cylinder or the above mentioned spring are installed yet so I don't know if that will make any difference. The power booster was rebuilt so I don't know if maybe the shaft on the back of the booster isn't adjusted properly?? Also, the clutch pedal isn't connected to anything except the large return spring so maybe it's too high until connected accounting for the difference is pedal heights???
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
