I am impressed
« on: June 14, 2005 - 02:04:11 PM »
I have been looking for a while on the internet for info on cudas and challengers. I have recieved alot of info but no one place has as much info as this site. This site will save me hours of research. I am researching everything as I am looking for a 70-71 challenger or cuda. I want it to be at least a 340 ( I am building one now) I also noticed the moderator stops all posts that are garbage. Glad to be aboard and thanks for the info.

Welcome!  Lots of information to be found here!

I agree that the group is well behaved and the moderators are very good.

There are some silly posts at times, but if you are seriously seeking an answer, someone will provide the correct answer.

Welcome.  CP --- I suggest you make fast friends with the all time Jedi Knight of Mopar "Chryco Psycho"  (who we also call "CP" from time to time) so dont be alarmed when you read:

"CP told me you can use a different yolk from a 727 tranny with no problem , the only thing to watch is the  U joint size , there were 2 the smaller 7260 2 1/8 " inside & the 7290 2 5/8" inside.."

or

"CP said the pinion angle can make a HUGE difference -- for a leaf spring without ladders cal tracs etc 5*-7* nose down from the driveshaft angle , if you have 7 leaf springs closer to 5* is better"

and you think "When did I post that?  was I dreaming?"

Welcome again!

Welcome CP, we like to keep it fun here but not at the sacrifice (someone please check spelling) of sharing knowledge. Part of the joy of sharing common interests is cutting loose and being yourself sometimes, of course within the realms of being tasteful which I too noticed everyone does a pretty good job of.

Welcome to the board CP!  Sounds like you have excellent taste in cars! I cruise through my "favorites" all the time looking for cars for sale.  What kind of price range are you looking for?  I'll shoot anything I find your way....unless its in Beam's price range...then he gets first dibs!

Glad to have you!

Welcome CP, wow that almost sounds sacrilegious using that in reference to someone other than THE MAN, lol.  This is just a great place hope you have fun and find any answers you may be looking for. And you may get a few questions, thinking your are the other CP.
