Mopar Original Reproduction Battery
« on: April 13, 2016 - 09:00:43 PM »
Has anyone tried one of these batteries from this vendor, tad expensive but it seems like they are the only game in town.

Looking for a reproduction for my 73 Cuda.

Try Mancini Racing.
They might have it.
They still show the Group 24 battery available.

Also looking for a red cap battery for my 70 Challenger 440. I don't think that summit sells them. It seems like restoration battery is the only game in town.

I e-mailed them and it's a 2-3 week L/T.

summit has been out of them for a while, Antigue auto is the only source for another 2-3 months, Axion which was the original supplier for Roseville and summit closed and sold the tools to turbostart guys, they are getting that set up now. so the high demand of the red and yellow cap batteries will dissolve as stock rolls in

what a lot of customers have done. instead of paying 300 for an original battery. is just use the OEM replacement. says mopar and a nation wide warranty. group 27 at 750amps,
