So what is the fuel pressure now & why is it still not starting ?
Personally & would have split the incoming fuel line to both rails & teed the return into the reg for more even fuel distribution , the furthest injector from the pump will be only 4 away not 8 .

Agreed with the above for changing fuel delivery.
Feed line should split before hand and then feed both rails.
Back end of rails feed the regulator. From there your fuel returns to the tank.
With this setup your rails always have access to all the fuel they need or what the pump will supply.
The pressure regulation is then handled with what is left. You will get a much more consistent pressure.

Regulator prior to rails then only allows enough fuel to hold pressuer. This way it can easily lead to starvation at the top end.

Recommend change AFTER you get thru your current start up issues. Git her running first...

Wish I could help you more on that end.

Mike.

Thanks,

Still fooling with it. I'm so close, its just a matter of something stupid I know it. I agree that splitting the fuel at the rails would be optimal but Ill get to that after I get this thing running. I'm trying to keep it simple right now.

Yea I debated mentioning splitting again bUT did not want to come across pushy. You have a lot on your plate already.
Later is

OK so we know you have air as you are still alive .
you have spark for sure ?
So do you have an extra injector you could plug in while cranking so you can see if the injector is delivering fuel ?
Can you test the pressure to be sure you have 50 lbs pressure or better ?

There's a guy on the G3 Swap FB group that could not get this started, he found out all except one of the injectors were clogged up. Cleaned them and it started fine.

funny you say that, because that is my suspicion right now. Going to pull them all out and see if some gunk got in there.

You can clean them and check function with a 9V battery, a syringe and some carb. or brake cleaner, check YouTube for info. I'm gonna clean mine before I try to start.

you would think I would at least get an attempt to start if it was clogged injectors though right?

Probably, don't have so much experience with injection though.

Depends if any fuel is getting through them; but if it was 1 or 2 clogged injectors, yes it should attempt to fire. Can you spray some fuel into the TB or intake?

He noted that it will fire up when using startup spray.

  • Mopar or No Car!

I'd pull all the injectors and clean them all, eliminate that as a problem and know that they will be clean for the foreseeable future!
