what is the purpose of the 6pk solenoid and do you have to have it to opperate a six pack setup. i got in touch with koller dodge and the parts guy said that they do not make this part anylonger and that i would have to find one in a junkyard. if i do need it does anyone have an extra for sale? thanks mike in tn
thanks for the ad

It just stops dieseling by closing the the throttle plates fully , it is not nessisary to have it , the 6 packs will work without it.
Try 6pack Performance in New Mexico[505] 345-8539, he used to sell them & probably still does

You can buy a replacement from many sources, (try your local auto parts store! You might be surprised) the only problem is that they have a superceded part# and a different shaped plunger head. So, if you are going for OEM show quality they are not 100% correct in appearance (but VERY close!) and they work just as OEM did.
