Jim, Awesome.  While the 383 is not original to my car, I have tried to keep the 71 RT spirit in it.  I get a lot of "is that the original motor?"  Anyway, the 450s I've read about are real torque machines, and I hope you'll post more about it.  Good luck.  Remember, life is short - get on with it! 

Good advice, and my wife is telling me the same thing!  We dated in this car back in high school so she's emotionally invested in the car, too.

Ok, sorry for that delay... here's a shot of the mounted PCV replacement parts I mentioned above (on pg 1).  The elbow comes with a long straight plastic hose about 8" attached, so I cut down the tube and clamped on the PCV hose.  Then I cut down the rubber elbow fitting about 3/8 because it stood up a bit tallish.  It's been working well, too.  I'm now tuned to about 13in vacuum and idling strong enough at about 950-1000.  I like the Lunati personality across the band.
