Here's the plan - we will meet in Barrie on the morning of June 17 and go north to Huntsville, then east through Algonquin Park to Whitney. From there south to Bancroft and then west through Haliburton and ending in Gravenhurst. I have a block of rooms booked at the Howard Johnson for the night of June 17. On Saturday morning we go to the Gull Lake Car Show in Gravenhurst. It's supposed to be a few hundred cars. After the show we head home. I realize this is Father's Day weekend but we should be home Saturday evening or sooner depending on where you live.
Room details - The block of rooms is booked under the name Mopar Tour - Car Show. The rate is $110 plus tax per two bed room. Call and reserve your room and then let me know so I can keep tabs on what's still available and if we need more rooms. We can cancel up to the day before so if it's a wet weekend we can all bail out. The block booking will only be held until May 17 so book soon. I hope booking a block is the right thing to do, I've never done this before and I don't know how full the town will be that night with the show the next day so I thought better safe than sorry.
Warning: hotel dude did mention some guys with corvettes usually stay there.
