Hellcat
« on: April 24, 2016 - 10:28:21 AM »
I haven't really got the itch to buy a Hellcat... That is until I discovered today that my local dealer has one at MSRP! Not quite sure how they did since they aren't even a licensed SRT dealer. Ahhhhh lol. Sorry, had to get that out of my system!  :droolingbounce: :ylsuper: :bananasmi

I think as inventory builds up you will see more of this.

My problem is that many of them are manual trans and I want the 8 speed auto.

I agree.... As much as I do like a manual, something about that 8 speed is very intriguing. Much better then the old 5 speeds.

Oh my gosh! So now 5 speeds are "old".   So what do you call a 3 in the tree? Note: be careful, some of us are the same age  :icon16:

Where are you from?  All they have here are automatics.  Couldn't get a manual if you wanted one.  I had to drive 2 hours away to get a manual lol.

Funny the majority of ones I have seen are manual.

I don't understand why you would want a car a full second slower.... :clueless:

Pure visceral enjoyment.  Just something about running through the gears in a stick car...

Besides, not much difference between either front seat when it's an automatic, in both case you are along for the ride.  Rather have some part in things besides stomp and steer.

Sorry, I know this is an old thread, but it's still on the first page.

:iagree:  They're out of my budget, but a friend of mine at work just bought this Hellcat for something like $500 under dealer invoice (or so they say?). He's suppose to be picking it up today!  :burnout:
