T/Anks for your ad.  I'm in need of replacement base plates for my T/A hood, but... couple questions, maybe you could naswer:

1.  Instead of screws to hold the base plates, are there screws with nuts on the under hood side... so to hold the screws in?... I've had the screws come out.

2.  I've seen riveted base plate hold-downs... when are they used?... T/A hoods?  Metal hoods?

3.  I also need new clips.   The factory design clips are flat lying... I personally prefer upright pull clips (same design except twisted upright)... that's what I've been using for many past years... easier to remove and install, IMO, than the flat lying design...  can't remember where I got them from... Does anyone know where to get the upright clips?

T/Anks ahead!

Hello,
1) If it was me  I would head down to the local hardware store and get some longer screws and nuts to hold it all together.
2) The T/A and AAR hoods have rivets to hold them in the fiberglass.
3) We have a kit that is not correct for your car but it has the pins and base plates you are looking for. It sells for $35.00.
If you are interested in the other kit let me know and I can send you some pictures.
