Last year was surprising at that you could park close to the tent for some time!! All you have to say on your way in if you are not driving an e-body, is that you are parking at a club tent and direct me towads the e-bodies.   Then look for something that identifies us as cc.com.  We will come up with something here soon!  I'm going to talk with Moper_guy333 and see what we can come up!!  This is gonna be so much fun!   :grinyes:  :grinyes:

  I'll be driving my e-body but hopeing to park with the rest of the members if possible, been to Carlisle a dozen or more times but never had a car in the show field.

The inevitable question... we may be able to ID the tent, but how are we going to ID the members. LBBB posted a lot of smileys as an answer on the shirt question, can we get a real answer now, or will we get more smileys?

To hopefully answer a couple questions, first to Joe, the Carlisle people erect the tent and it is secured just like a big ole circus tent, it would take quite a noreastner to uproot this puppy. Unlike the first year when LB and I hung on like a couple monkeys to our little 10x10 canopy tent, I bet people are still laughing and talking about us,lol.

Secondly to 4C, I looked into a 3'x5' banner through a local shop and was quoted a price of minumum of $250.00 and more if they had to "doctor" up any color/art work, so I backed out of that, sorry. Hope you and your nephew have better luck with pricing.

Just a friendly persusave reminder to all who attend, please be willing to chip in a few $$ to cover this tent rental, it is really a luxuray while there to be able to get in out of the sun for a while, and  $150.00 amoung 30/40 people isn't too much. I still beleive 4C took the brunt of this monetay load upon himself last year, and this year I think he should just leave his billfold in his pocket when it comes to covering this, but since he has been so kind to be the spokesperson and arrange this please see him and thank him and slip a little green to him. Thank you.....I know 4C will  :spank: me for this but it is the only right way to do this, it's greatly appreciated - thanks Dave !

And yes thanks to everyone's efforts that go without notice but please let me know how I can help even if only monetary.
I would not feel good about having one person get caught with the expense.

Ok so I have found some ballons that should fit our needs.  Colors are limited but I don't really think colors matter that much.  Yellow, pink and green were colors they had on hand.  These ballons are probably as big around as a semi tire and for 2 extra dollars, the coat the inside of the balloon for long life.  Unfortunitely I will have to have them filled prior to leaving Detroit as it takes alot of pressure and helium to fill them.  Now that I have decided on what to use, I will secure 3 balloons and string for the cc.com tent.  Or should I get 4 . . . one for each corner.  Total cost per balloon is only 10 bucks!! What does everyone think??  Should I just get some of one color??  I'll buy them tomorrow and fill them prior to leaving on Thursday!!  Hopefully I don't float away!!

Doghouse shaped . . . lol
