4C,
Just HOW do you propose to tote these to Carlisle once they are filled????    They sound like biggins, and I don't know if you are bringing a separate car just for them???      Mike

Thats a really good question and I have been deep in thought as to how I am going to accomplish this.  Since the convert. will be on the trailer on the way to carlisle, I'm gonna try to fit them in there . . . if not I will store all my stuff in the convert and put them in the back of the burb.

Maybe I should just get 1 or 2??

4C,
I guess it depends on how much you like to see thru your rear view mirror.    I'm just giving you a hard time, but I appreciate the effort.

4C, perhaps if you contact the gal who reserved the tent she may be able to arrange this little task too. There are always those big "ballon" type things at the show, and they are real huge so certainly they must have a way to inflate them after arriving there. I really don't see how you could manage 4 truck tire size ballons in the back of your Surburban, beside you could get pulled over, like MEK said it would be an obstruction of vision while driving.

No worries mate!!  It was a good question as these are large balloons.  I will probably need help getting them to the show from the hotel though . . .   :dontknow:   unless we go check out the grounds on thursday.

Well I know I could get one in the convertible for sure!

Question for 4C...............Is the trailer your taking to Carlisle an enclosed one? If so, perhaps they will fit between the roof and the top of the car? But make sure there is some kind of protedtion for them between both surfaces.

Thats a good thought but unfortunitely . . . it is not enclosed.  I will get a couple balloons to make this work that I can get to Carlisle even if I don't get the jumbo size.  lol

I could ALMOST have been able to at least make it out there for a day, if we had scheduled the family vacation for a week later....

We are visiting family in Connecticut the first week of July.  One week to early..... :newsad:

Hey Ghost you could always pull one of those lamp00n (pun intended) vacations like Chevy Chase, you know, just a little lay over until Carlisle show was over, lol.

My goodness the site edit thing would not accept lamp00n with the letter "o", had to use the numerical "0", what gives, I noticed a few days ago someone posted something with the word sp00n in it and it did the same thing. I know I'm not up on todays jive but what the hell is this all about, someone care to "enlighten" me. But be carefull, you may have to do via e-mail,lol.

:coffee: Well pardon me.............but I think "POONTANG" is a little more civil way of saying.............well you know. And besides what's that got to do with sp00n? But anyway, thaks for the explanation, would have never made that association. Just my innocence I guess.
