The question is: do I need to replace the metal trim for the windshield? My mechanic tells me that the windshield will not be fixed when putting it back in because the metal part (I don't know the exact English term) is rusty.
I don't want to buy replacement parts and do waste $$$ on parts and labor if not necessary. It seems to me that after the sandblasting is done we'll see if something needs to be replaced.
The A-pillars look OK for now, I don't want to cut them up and screw up the whole construction of the chassis if it is not absolutely necessary.
Can anybody take a look and let me know what to do?
