Two feet automatic driving

For about 20 years I have been using both feet when using an automatic due to at one time having to feather the gas to keep the engine from stalling, just curious how many others drive an auto using both feet.

I have heard it said some states try to discourage driving like that.

I do that as well on big cammed old cars. Have trained myself not too in everything else. They do teach not to drive this was as it could cause an accident in a panic stop situation as you could apply brake and throttle at the same time.

I commonly use 2-feet with my automatic... for pylon AX events -- definitely faster through the pylon manuevers up/down speeds/rpms, etc.  Street/hwy... your choice... whatever feels more comfortable, but get used to it as a habit so you don't forget what you're doing...

Where I live this is a too common. People driving resting their foot on the brake so the lights are on all the time.

I don't give a rats ass about how you drive on the track but on the road your lights are all we have to decipher what your intentions are on the road. Part of dangerous driving is allowing those around you see well in advance - if possible what your intentions are.

Two feet is the fastest. I'm not often trying to beat my best time to the beer store by a tenth, so I use the same foot for brake and gas around town.

Every day for me too.  Summer, winter, car, truck.  Doesn't matter.  I believe in the faster reaction theory.  i used two feet during my first autocross last weekend.  It is a habit, and I do not ride the pedal and keep the lights lit.

You are all rookies.... try three pedals with two feet, much more challenging. 

However, I to do it on track days.  I get better times that way, as I can feather the gas and or break depending on the need.
