Carburetor Sale-off!!!

Ok I've got 3 carburetors, all three are in good shape.... 2 Edelbrocks and one Holley carb.... the edelbrock's have been sitting in a sealed tuberware box for 2 years so they might need a cleaning or gasket change, but that's it.  I'm confident that you'll be happy with these, if you buy them and there's any MAJOR issues I will buy them back minus shipping to get them to me... pay pal payment is preferred.... I'm pricing these to sell quick as I'm moving half way across the country to Salt Lake City, UT soon and don't want to pack them with me.  I've put them all on my 440 and it started up and ran on all three.  You will have to do some tuning on them to meet your application though.  You also have to pay for shipping.... whatever is cheaper to you, I am near New Orleans so I can ship from here or from Salt Lake City after my move

I have an interest in the holley, but I wounder if it's to much for A 383? mild cam? 4 speed.

I would say you'd be on the border with it.  Vacuum secondaries are nice, especially if you are making a larger carb work on an application like yours.  I would want to be able to adjust when the secondaries started opening based on the engines demand.  Especially on a street car.  That's just my opinion, you could make anything work with good tuning.

  I was told by some old timer's that you are better off to jet A bigger carburetor down then to jet A smaller carburetor up. I personally know far more about body, collision work then mechanical!!!

Heard that.  Cheap deals I guess.  I have all three of these and figured I could sell them for a different carb or possibly put it towards F.I. I'm moving from below sea level to about 4,000ft elevation so trying to figure out a best plan of approach if sticking with a carb.  Thinking about a quick fuel with adjustable mechanical secondaries so I can use all the Holley parts I've saved up for tuning.

FI would be big $$
