Nostalgic once upon a time 'Cuda owner.
« on: April 29, 2016 - 06:22:22 PM »
Owned a 1973 "Cuda I ordered in early 1973.
340 4sp,full gauges, console and rally wheels.
No PS or AC or stripes or vinyl top.
F8 green with green interior.
Had to get rid of it  because of career change to construction 18 months later.
Now 40+ years I'm missing it more than ever and am starting a search to see if that one is still in California
or even still exists.
Hoping I can get some tips on just how to search for something this far back in the past.
Only thing I know for sure is the color, options and the license plate # at the time.
Thanks to all on this site and the info and pictures of cars from my past.

:iagree:   The colors might attract a spark of memory. No way to get vin ??  No papers stashed , forgotten ?

This Barret Jackson link really sparked old memories.

Take off the vinyl top, side graffics, AC and power steering it’s almost exactly my old car.
Looking back now I wish I had ordered the AC and PS.
Only way I can figure to find a vin# is if it still has the same plate here in Ca.
I was 19 then and not too sentimental about saving much.
Now in my 60's I want as much of my youth back as I can get.☺
The Plymouth dealer in Santa Ana where I bought it hasn't been around for decades now.
