I occasionally check the 69 Mach 1 market as I have owned a 428 car for about 10 years. I am not sure that car would bring much more than $15K from what I see of the paint quality in particular. It seems a rather careless repaint when you see the door tag painted over. What other short cuts were taken?
The car looks solid enough so that is positive along with the stick. However a real good M code would probably top out below $45K so work backwards.
At $10K it would seem a very good deal.

Thanks for the note BS27! I agree that there are a few things that caught my eye when I looked over the pictures. I guess the only thing to keep in mind, this car was painted almost 35 years ago. Back then there wasn't a lot of reference material or even repo stripes for that matter, so when it comes to the little details I was a bit forgiven for that reason.

This would be a car I would buy for $10k and put no more then $10k into it, keeping it a nice driver quality car that I can use.  :2thumbs:  :burnout:

pretty standard, if not a little bare on options. but that's not a bad thing, means you can get it for a decent price

I Love that fords have the Marti report but I don't understand why people get the basic one and not opt for the Full marti report. It will tell you exactly if the car you own is a one of XXX cars.

My uncle has a 70 Mach 1 in grabber blue,351, auto, white deluxe interior with a radio delete. Marti report outlines right down to the option if it is a one of one car. Which my uncles is thanks to that radio delete.

If I had that option available to my Mopar I wouldn't even consider a basic report!

Either way the 69/70 is a very nice ride! good luck.

I definitely ordered the deluxe report. If this is not the deluxe report I will have to contact them.  :dunno:

You are correct, there are 3 different reports. Standard, Deluxe and Elite must be the one you are talking about. If I end up purchasing the car I will definitely upgrade to the Elite report. ($220 compared to $46)

Sorry I wasn't aware there were three levels I though it was just standard and deluxe but in my previous report I meant Elite than.

What you have there is the basic one.

The Marti Reports may have changed over the years as the Deluxe Report does not give a specific one of X cars built. This is a Deluxe Marti Report. The Elite report, I believe comes mounted and a copy of the window sticker for the $220 plus price.

10K is a smoking deal. Car is worth about 20 US the way it sits. Non #'s engine, color and rust issues are why it is not higher. Nice car buy it

Haha I will be for sure. I'm just waiting until I head back east in June. The car is not posted for sale and he knows I want it so no chance it won't be there. He has owned it for almost 35 years so he doesn't mind hanging on for another month.  :2thumbs:
