Hagerty insured this for $1.4M?

Wow, someone is going to get some coin.  If that car sold at BJ or wherever, lucky to get $400k.

No wonder Hagerty posted a $50k reward.  They don't want to shell out $1.4M.

Cool top, but ugly color IMHO.

I agree...does sound...fishy.   :stirpot:

That was my first reaction but it's probably very unfair to jump to that conclusion.

The theft of the Cuda was reported on mainstream NBC News (NYC channel) on Wednesday night with about a 20 second sound bite.

In all seriousness this sucks, the car is a museum piece & it's owner a super good guy... Not that any car or owner deserves this crap but Steven has made collecting & preserving the rarest & most interesting Mopars his life mission.... Along with making those cars & the associated memorabilia accessible to hobbyists that are interested in viewing his collection...

I was surprised it disappeared from a NY storage facility ... for some reason I thought Juliano's collection was in LA? Where is his display garage with all the crazy memorabilia anyway?
Cheers!

Fox news today, nothing new.  Even if it goes overseas as some have suggested it makes no sense to steal this car. Unlike a famous painting that takes an expert to authenticate, this car stands out like a sore thumb.     :dunno:   I still think somethings fishy about this.   :2cents:               http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2016/05/04/50000-reward-offered-for-stolen-rare-plymouth-hemi-cuda/

Steven has most of his collection  in San Clemente but since he truly is a New Yorker he maintains a small collection there as well....

Bump... No news in many weeks (months) now. Seems strange, and I'm sure we are all curious how this ends up.
