After being single for quite a while now there is the good and the bad.  I can do what ever I want when I want, no one to ask permission, no one to worry about whether you are hurting their feelings or spending "quality" time with, no one that is on your a$$ about something you did 8 years ago or the money your spending on your car or time your spending with your car or the guys.  You get to date anyone anytime anywhere.  Some of the bad is there are A LOT of psycho needy girls out there which, after many lessons learned, is the main reason I do not date.   Another bad is the nights and holidays get lonely and I have to share my time with my kids.  I honestly thought I would never be divorced but that I would have a big family (hallmark version). A lot of things are done and decided outside of your control or "plan".  So you have have to make the best of what cards your dealt. If I was still married there is no way I would have my cars.

I'm married and I rebuilt my 727 in the guest bedroom.  I'd also argue that I get more booty than single men do

yep, more booty.  And I keep my crotch rocket in the dining room in the winter.

It is nice to not have to answer to anyone when your single.

If you find a good woman there are more advantages to being married than single. Guys always like the idea of being single and doing what they want but in this day and age one income makes it tough. Right now I couldn't afford my Challenger if we didn't have two incomes. You do have to make a lot of sacrifices if you have kids but that's a given. We don't argue about money and really never have. When we met we agreed when we paid the bills 50/50 whatever money we had left was ours to do what we wanted with and it has worked for 30 years. I pay for my cars etc. and she pays for hers. I most always paid for our vacations because I made a little more than her and we split the cost on other things but it has always worked out well and I don't mind. Single or not you guys can't tell me you wouldn't like to come home to a woman at the end of the day a lot of times. When you get older you will never know the happiness of children and grandchildren if you are single. This coming from a guy that was single until he was 30 so I had my fun in the 70's. My only advice is don't get married young and make sure she is sane when you do.

Oh I lived with a couple like that but I was smart enough or lucky enough not marry one of them, both were redheads, STAY AWAY!

            Isn't it something, that in the begining of the relationship, you can do no wrong. Your Mr. Perfect. But, as time goes on, then it starts. Well, you do this to much, or I don't like that. They start trying to change you, mold you, teach you their way. Some of the biggest arguements I've had was when I said, " Well, thats how I was when we got together "  Most women, IMO, treat a man like a child that they are  raising. I have noticed that many TV commercials today that feature a husband/wife, the man many times is made to look stupid, or wrong by the wife. All of my failed marriages and live together's failed because I would not allow the attempt's to change me, or tell me how I could spend my money. So now I'm very happy single, living here in the shop, surrounded by beautiful cars.    I will never, ever get in a relationship again.  So my one thing is  " FREE  "     Don't get me wrong, I love women, but only for casual , well, you know.
