Power steering pump - to rebuild or not to rebuild
« on: May 01, 2016 - 02:40:14 PM »
My power steering pump is a mess. I was looking at rebuilding it or just buying a new or already rebuilt one like http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/aaz-20-6184/overview/year/1970/make/dodge/model/challenger

What would you recommend? For $50 it seems like a no-brainer or am I missing something? Is it possible to buy completely new PS pump?

Can't beat the price, and I've purchased many Cardone reman products over the years with few, if any problems.  :2cents:

Check with Dave at Roseville before pulling the trigger on this one.  My pump had a crack in it and I ordered one through him.  Installed it and works perfect!

Depends what is wrong with your pump  you can buy a seal kit for about $12 & go through it if it is just leaking
