70/71 challenger fender mounted signal measurement request
« on: May 03, 2016 - 08:11:54 AM »
I really need the measurement in the picture below taken from a 70/71 Challenger. The previous posts I found on this forum do not give the correct measurement from front to back. Probably because it came from a 73. All I need is for someone to take a tape measure and measure from the front edge (less headlight bezel) to the front of the turn signal indicator. It has to be a 1970/71 style (no screw on the top). Hole location measurements would be better, but still has to come from a 70/71 Challenger. Just let me know how you took the measurement.

thanks
Chris

If you "eye ball it" based on that picture, I don't think anybody will notice if you're an 1/8 inch out  :2cents:

Not that anybody will notice but you will know!  And that makes a big difference most of the time.  At least it would be for me.

I can get the measurements off my car but mine is a 73 with factory fender mounted signals. Would it be the same???

I would suspect that they are, but not 100% sure.  If you can give me a measurement from the side that faces the driver (lens side) then I can be pretty sure that the viewing angle of the light will be the same.

Just to be clear, when you say "front" to do mean A or B ?

Great, thanks for your help.  I didn't want to drill holes in my fenders  and find out I was wrong.
